REFLECTION QUESTIONCookingHave you ever made soup broth from scratch before? What kinds of vegetables do you have on hand to put in?
Thuvan Vuong 10/07/2026 7:03 AMYes, I have made soup broth from scratch before. I usually use vegetables such as carrots, onions, celery root , garlic, and corn. Sometimes I also add green onions, cabbage, or tomatoes for extra flavor. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONStorageWhat kinds of fruit and vegetables do you like eating in a smoothie?
Thuvan Vuong 10/05/2026 6:54 AMI like adding bananas, strawberries, blueberries, mangoes, spinach, and celery to my smoothies. I prefer bananas and strawberries because they make the smoothie naturally sweet. Sometimes I also add spinach, cucumber, or celery stalk because they are healthy, but I cannot taste them much. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCookingWe often worry about running out of food so we make too much. What thoughts and feelings have come up when you make just the right amount to eat up all the food?
Thuvan Vuong 10/04/2026 6:11 PMWhen I know serving size for each member of my family. I make just the right amount of food and we eat everything. I feel happy and satisfied. So, I do not have to worry about wasting food or having too many leftovers. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONCookingHow have you modified what you do with leftovers to make sure nothing goes to waste?
Thuvan Vuong 10/03/2026 5:26 AMI used the leftover spaghetti to make stir-fried noodles. It is called Lo Mein (tossed noodle). This dish typically is easy to prepare. It consists of boiled noodles with different vegetables, chicken, and a savory sauce. I used any vegetables I have in the fridge then sliced them. If you don’t like chicken, you can substitute with beef, shrimp, tofu, or a mix of different proteins that suit your family.-
