What meal plan method works for you and why? Have you tried some in the past that didn't work?

The best meal plans for me just involve consistency. I prefer to have the same meals everyday which makes it easy to prep-ahead, I just need to save the time to do some cooking when I run low!!!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Have you ever shared meals with your kids at restaurants before? What have you learned about restaurant portion sizing?

I often share with the kids I babysit as I dont want to get my own food and they never finish it. I think I have learned that portion sizes are not nessisarly a good reflection of how much food is healthy to consume

Just utilized my local coops bulk section. I brought all my own containers and reused an old yogurt container for peanut butter!

I have been prioritizing fresh fruits over frozen when making my breakfast. Often I do a mix of both and occasionally allow for some fresh produce to go bad (OCCASIONALLY). This was I can hope to mitigate that problem

I have been trying to store my greens in a more efficient way. I tried the paper towel method and let me tell you it worked WONDERS!!!! Taco lettuce for days rather than brown in Meer hours!!

How has buying bulk impacted the amount of food you waste?

Normally I am buying dry goods that have a much longer shelf life than their wet counterparts. It also leads me to being more intentional as I am buying single ingredients rather than a whole so I have a good deal of options in terms of versatility

I work at a coop and today decided to try out the bulk peanut butter. I refilled my old one, saving some plastic and it was delicious!!
