"My mission for the Save Food, Spend Less Challenge 2026 is to reduce food waste, save money, and build more mindful eating and spending habits. By using leftovers, planning meals, tracking my food, and making the most of what I already have, I aim to become more resourceful and intentional with my choices. My goal is to make small, sustainable changes that benefit both my budget and the environment."

Kiyani Hume 10/11/2026 9:57 AMI attended a family event where food was provided, so I didn’t have to cook or spend extra money on a meal. This helped me save time, reduce the need to prepare additional food at home, and be mindful of my spending. I also focused on enjoying the food available rather than making something new.-

Kiyani Hume 10/11/2026 9:49 AMMy Save Food, Spend Less Challenge 2026 is all about being more intentional with what I eat and how I spend my money. I’ve been focusing on using leftovers instead of letting food go to waste, planning meals around what I already have, and tracking my food to better understand my habits.Sometimes saving money isn’t about making huge changes. It’s about making the most of what you already have, being mindful of what you buy, and finding ways to waste less. Small changes add up, and I’m working on building better habits one meal at a time.-
Abigail Sarazin 10/11/2026 8:04 PMIntention is so important, and being considerate of food intake and financial spending is a great way to practice intention. I also have been tracking what I eat versus what I buy so I can make sure I waste less food. Making small changes is a great way to build lasting habits.
